 Hi everybody ;

                          I hope I'm in the right Forum.

                          I've been trying to find a compatible portable mp3 player for Windows7.  I've done an indepth research into this.  Most of the players work ONLY on earlier versions of Windows.  Example ; Scandisk mp3 players do work with Windows.  Windows XP.   Sony SAYS  their players are compatible with more recent versions of Windows.  That what they SAY.   The other question I have is.......is the portable mp3 player technology being phased out for newer  technologies ?

 Thanks,

  garystan

Hello Garystan,

MP3 players might not be as popular as they were a decade ago, but that doesn't mean they're outdated technology.
