Is this hub - https://www.amazon.d...gateway&sr=8-12- to recommend or is it one at all?

Or this one: https://www.amazon.d...=gateway&sr=8-6

I want to transfer data between 2 external USB 3 hard drives, e.g. a Seagate 8TB drive and a WD MyBook drive and such.

The first one says it is USB 3.0 the second one is only USB 2.0.  Price on the first one seems too low so be careful when you order.  Sometimes the shipping charges will make up for the low price.  Perhaps shipped directly from China so may be slow to arrive.

Thank you.

How could one recognize that, 2.0 at the second one? What does that - "jfhrfged Powered HUB USB3.0 4" - near the second one mean?

Price on the first one seems too low so be careful when you order.

I am not quite sure what that means, the price of the second one is lower.

Sometimes the shipping charges will make up for the low price.

The shipping of the first costs 2 €, about 1,80 $, I assume. For the second one 7 €.

Yes, shipping will last very long, I guess.

OOPs.  Got them reversed.  It's the 1st one (white) which says USB 2.0 on it.  The 2nd one (black) claims to be 3.0.

As far as price goes both are too low to be real so I'm not surprised that the shipping is a lot more.  Does it say they will ship directly from China?

I wouldn't trust either one of them.  choosing a name brand product will likely net you much better result.  Such as faster data trasfer, won't fry your hardware due to bad electronics, and will actually work.

For example I really like Aukey and Anker products.

Ah yes. So that might explain the price. I guess, no one needs such.

Yes, but 2 € seems to be OK...actually. But too much for the white one.

Does it say they will ship directly from China?

Yes, for both ones.

Not the best, obviously:

So it does not seem to make sense to order such. Do you have any idea where to buy USB 3 hubs? Or should I take USB 3.1? Or even higher?

Sorry for the quadruple posts, but nothing seems to happen each time when I clicked "Post".

Yes, too high a risk maybe.

For example I really like Aukey and Anker products.

Yes, I already saw them, good reviews, looks very, may be this one is OK:

Cleaned up the duplicate posts for you.  Yes, I can recommend that one.  That is the one I have and it works great.
