Let me know if you are able to install one of the following extensions in the AOL browser.

I've been trying desperately to find the AOL extension files to no avail.  Finally contacted their tech support since I'm a paying subscriber and I was just informed that you cannot add extensions in AOL Gold.

Hi sweetsuzee,

Try installing one of the above extensions in Google Chrome. Let me know if the ads continue to appear in Chrome.

Having never dealt with adding extensions before, I've been doing a lot of research.  Winds up unless you're a very experienced programmer, there is no adding extensions in Chrome unless they are in the Chrome Web Store.  That depressed me so I decided to research the extensions you actually provided.  Then I came to realize that they were just shortened forms of URLs.  Once that light bulb went off, I took off like a genius. However, before I do anything I want to confirm since I do not actually see the partial URL provided when I get to where I believe I should be. Do you want me to add the extension for Adblock Plus? If "yes", then my answer is "yes" in that I can install it and will install it once you confirm that's what you want me to do.

Also, I'm going in for surgery tomorrow and I do not know for how long I'll be down.  If you respond before I leave in the morning, I'll try to do what you want me to.  However, if I don't is there any way we can waive that 4 day clause regarding if you don't hear from me I'm bounced or whatever.  I will most definitely get back to you as soon as physically possible.  Thanks, Sue

No problem. I'll leave the topic open. :)

You can click one of the links above to go to the Chrome Web Store which has the extension available. The extensions are Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin.
