More and more phone calls just show a number or the message "Wireless Caller". What happened that it no longer shows the caller's name?

spam calls.... they got so good at it, they will call you with numbers from your own area code when they are in fact halfway around the country.
the phone companies are working on it, but at this point they just cant stop it.
