Hi, one quick question concerning an unknown service running in the background..

Sometimes when I shutdown my machine I get the note that it's "waiting for chromeviewer to shut down". What is this? I dont have chrome nor any google service installed.

Thx

Odd you have never had the Chrome browser installed ? because it sounds like the Chrome pdf viewer.

I once had Iron installed, it's a chromium browser. But it's long gone. I don't know why the pdf viewer part should continue running indepentenly, besides from not uninstalling with the rest of the package.

Plus I cant find any trace of it in the control panel.

Open a command prompt, run as adminstrator,
Copy the text below and paste it into the black command window.
echo > 0 & tasklist /v >> 0 & net start >> 0 & notepad 0
press enter on your keyboard.
A log file in note pad will be created on the desktop.
Post all of the notepad outcome in your next reply.

So far not seeing anything related to a chromeviewer service or anything, I'll have a close look as I scanned rather quickly. Getting ready to run out for a while...
