Hello there,

So I bought a very good gaming pc the last week of july and everything was great. But for the past two weeks my internet is slower than usual, my provider cannot find any problem and I tried everything I can think of but not as far as resetting my computer yet. I want to see if you could have suggestion before I resort to resetting everything.

I play regularly a game that does not usually use a lot of connection, it goes to 15 ms and that is perfect but it went up to 80 ms the last two week and I experience some small lag and sometime disconnection. One other thing is I use skype or Discord daily, and I can hear regular cut in the discussion, even 5 seconds cuts, and it goes back to normal but it happens all the time and it was not happening before.

So any suggestions ?

Hello,

Lets try clearing things out.

Copy and paste the text in the code box below into Notepad.

@Echo off
pushd\windows\system32\drivers\etc
attrib -h -s -r hosts
echo 127.0.0.1 localhost>HOSTS
attrib +r +h +s hosts
popd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh int ip reset all
netsh winsock reset catalog
shutdown -r -t 1
del %0
Save as flush.bat to your desktop.
Then
right-click flush.bat and select "Run as Administrator" your computer will reboot.

Run the computer for a while and see how things are.
