Hello Faina, From my research it looks like nothing is going to work for you.. I don't see any work around or older aps that can be downloaded. Go to the full post »

Dear experts,

I need your kind help for an issue that I have and I wasn't able to find a proper solution on line so far

I've an iPad1, with the latest 5.1.1 installed, and, coincidentally, after the release of iOS13, it stopped to show youtube video everywhere, in the app, on safari, on opera, on chrome and firefox. You can load the list, see the picture that works as preview but when you click you see black screen

Of course I've rebooted it but not reset yet

I wasn't able to find any new app because, since it's very old, nothing work anymore

Do you know any workaround that avoid me to spend another 800USD for a new one?

Thanks in advance for your great help!

Cheers

From my searching there is not a lot that can be done. You tube has updated its app to work with the latest versions but not the earlier versions.

I did run across one fix at http://www.tabletpcr...tube-on-ipad-1/
