Hi, my EVGA GTX 480 has just died so I need a replacement. Its quite old and all I really need is a new card of similar specs as the 480 as I dont really do any gaming, just lots of AutoCAD work.

I would appreciate any suggestions for a new card - GTG has always been very helpful to me in the past so I know Im asking in the right place!

Thank you in advance

Hi Timjs,

You can look at something like the GTX 10XX series. The intro cards in the GTX 1000 series are the 1050 and the 1050ti. GTX1060 is even better. None of the cards should fully utilize the PCIe 2.0 x16 slot.

You can look at something like this ($150) >> https://pcpartpicker...ti-4gt-oc<br> You can also try looking at the GTX 1060 ($219) >> https://pcpartpicker...1060-a6g-gaming
