I am setting up an ACER E5-575 laptop, Windows 10 Home. It will have the lid closed with an external monitor and small soundbar sitting on top of it. Also external mouse and keyboard.

I have the settings figured out but want to be able to have it start when a power is restored from an outage so that I don't have to move the monitor/soundbar.

There are lots of how to's but all of them require me to access power management from the BIOS menu. Fine except that I can't find that tab.

The first photo below is what initially displays when entering bios.

Second photo is the main menu.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello,

I spent a bit of time searching this issue and can't find anything, I found some topics about "Cant find power management in Device manger"

https://answers.micr...09-4bc257444590

Can't see your screens. They don't enlarge for me for some reason. From what i did search a few users said look on the left side of the BIOS menu for Power Management but I'm sure you by now have looked everywhere including under the couch :)

Thanks
zep

Actually, I didn't think to look under the couch, bed or in the pantry.

So, that's done but no luck.

It's not device manager.

I found articles about windows 10 laptop turning on when ac is restored and they all show a bios menu with a power management tab.

Can't figure out why I don't have it.

I'll look in the garage tomorrow.

TY.

Interesting, I can't expand my photos either. I get a 403 forbidden pop up.
