Age of Empires 3 has no graphics on W10

When I try to run AOE3 off my CDs on W10 I get no graphics. I have both expansions installed as well. Any idea what might be the issue?

That game is pretty old and may not run on windows 10. The game also has a host of possible graphics problems that have been addressed through game updates something you would not have on the cd version.
