I have two TV's in mind but can't decide which one is better? Can you advise me please? The model's I'm looking at are:

SONY BRAVIA KD43XG8096BU (£549.00)
LG 43UM7600PLB (£399.00)

Both are 43" my current TV (Toshiba) is a 32". The only reason I'm upgrading is that I would like to connect to WIFI to watch BBCi Player, UKTV Play etc. I have looked at both sets, and have been told that the Sony has a habit of dropping conection at variouse times.  I've been told to get it fast because of Brixit, but I will get it Black Friday.

Which has the better sound and colour?

Both have sports, vivid, cinema, etc. I did find the Sony remote more user friendly then the LG, but can't make up my mind which is the better set.

Many thanks and hope you can help?

Hello AuraTodd,

If the only reason you're upgrading is because of wifi and you have information that the Sony drops connections you would want to take that into consideration we know how annoying that can be. Without being able to see both sets it's hard to say which has better sound and picture, the Sony does get good reviews in that area. I Like the price of the LG and in general like LG's

Thanks

Thanks, I like movies and period dramas, the Sony does seem a bit expensive for now.

I agree I think the Sony may be a bit over priced. So you would have a lot of cash left over for pop corn an stuff.

I really love my LG 42CS560 It's an older one no wifi but i don't need it. Yours or the one you're looking at appears to be loaded with connection options and for the price you can't go wrong..
