Updating and Restore Problems

Yesterday Windows 10 did its sneaky move and updated my computer.

The desktop would only display a pop up and one icon.

So I changed it to the highest setting

So I thought that running Restore might take it back to when all was running well.

I did have four of my own restore points

I ran Restore and after some time a pop up stated that it had failed

The main problem is the monitor desktop.size.

The Monitor is roughly 25 inches measured on the diagonal.

The display resolution is 1600 x 1200.

But up to this point I have used the next size up but the Display will not show it.
