I've successfully installed Windows 10 on a Certified Windows 10 flash drive - 128 Gb Kanguru Mobile Workspace, but I cannot seem to install Windows 10 non-certified flash drive that has faster transfer rates than the Kanguru dive - 1 Tb Patriot Supersonic Rage Elite.  What does a certified flash drive have that a non-certified flash drive doesn't have that lets Windows To Go (WTG) be installed on it?

I used AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition 8.2 to install WTG on these drives per an instructional video on YouTube.  Has anyone else done this successfully on a non-certified USB drive?

Gday.

I think this article may give you an understanding of what the certified drive means, and hopefully answer your questions.
