Hi!

I've got a Lenovo Ideapad S530 and want to run a dual monitor setup for work. Been trying to figure out whether it's capable of running this via HDMI for one screen and USB-C hub for the second screen.

Would a simple multi-media hub work or would I need something more dedicated like an external display processing unit?

Cheers,

Lokhe

Hello,
Lokhe,,

Since the unit has only one port for HDMI you can use a USB plugable dock like this one-> https://www.amazon.c...linkId=57392091 to connect two monitors to your Ideapad 530s unit.

The information I found was posted here,
https://forums.lenov...rs/td-p/4219151

So not a 100 percent how accurate it is..

Thanks
Zep

Reading further down in the thread you linked seems to suggest the opposite? Seems several people were experiencing issues with getting video to display through the USB-C port.

Hmm.
