I know lots of folks say Macs don't or rarely catch viruses but for precautious reasons is there any apps I can run to be safe? I've lately been getting popups and random websites loaded that say my system is infected. It'll say Malware something.

What should I run to be sure I'm safe?

P.S: I already Installed Malewarebyte and uninstalled it after 30 days free trial :D Also bitfinder which I personally don't like (the issue is I uninstall bitfinder but the logo of it still shows on my screen tab).

Thanks!

Hello Hicham Rejb and welcome to the

I know lots of folks say Macs don't or rarely catch viruses

That's not because they are more robust than PCs but because they are only used by about 9.5% of the world's population, therefore, it's not worth malware-writers targeting them.

This is not a Mac forum and we are not able to help here as we are not knowledgeable enough about Macs. You need to start a topic in our other forum here where someone will be able to help you.

Good luck and I hope they can solve your problem.
