PLEASE HELP I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX MY WINDOWS 7 FOR 4 WKS.

IT CANT RUN OR DOWNLOAD ANYTHING. I DONT HAVE A DISC TO SAVE ANYTHING TO. AND I DONT NEED TO.. THIS LAPTOP WAS GIVEN TO ME

Open Notepad (Start, All Programs, Accessories, Notepad)

 

 

Edit, Paste and the copied text should appear.  File, Save As and save it to your desktop as

"unhookexe.inf"

OK.  Make sure you include the quotes or it won't be right.

 

Right click on unhookexe.inf and INSTALL.  Ignore any warnings.

 

If you can't open notepad try renaming it to notepad.com:

 

Start, All Programs, Accessories then right click on Command Prompt and Run as Admin.

 

Type:

Copy  c:\windows\notepad.exe  c:\Windows\notepad.com

hit Enter.

 

Type:

notepad.com

 

hit Enter.
