The video card installed in a Dell is non functional.   To test it   I would like to go into BIOS to make the change from the installed card and MB .   With no video, is it possible to access the BIOS?    Probably won't help but I'd like to try.

Power down

Disconnect video cable from back of video card

Remove video card from computer

Connect video cable from video port of computer to monitor

Power up computer

(IOW, when you remove the video card, the computer will automatically recognize that it now needs to send video out through the computer's video port).
