Hi

I have a problem with installing windows.

I accidentally screw up a windows 10!

then I installed a new windows 7 by bootable USB and then shut down the laptop.

After I turn it on again to install common software on it, it didn't boot! there was a black screen with this error:

Bootmgr image is corrupt.

I tried to install windows again but this time I couldn't. Laptop doesn't recognize bootable USB anymore! I tried windows installation CD, but it didn't work either. it still shows that black screen with that error. BIOS setting is correct. I set up boot order for USB and CD accordingly.

I don't know what to do and I'm afraid if I ruined some hardware.

Can anybody help please?

Thank you

Hello melip,

From where did you get the Windows media that you are using.

Is your computer a custom build or a brand name, if a brand name post the model name and number for us, if custom, give us as much info about the specs as you can.
