internet explorer gone - desktop now gone too

Open task manager then click file, new task, type explorer.exe, click OK, you should get the desktop, reboot and see if it loads

well thats one of the problems. explorer is gone and when i search it, it says the file cannot be found. is there a way i can download and install explorer?

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter to replace missing system files, you need the XP CD and get a progress bar

i cant get to my start menu. is there a way to do it through task manager?
