For about a week I haven't been able to access Yahoo Answers. The site opens, but the access to posting questions is missing. I did a down detector probe with several utilities and they all say the site is down (see screenshots). I can see other people's posts, so apparently others can use the site. Has anyone reported this not working? What could be going on?

The page opens, but I don't have access to submit questions.

The down checker says the site is giving a 404 error. The same as it's been for over a week.

The down detector tells me  There are no problems at yahoo answers.

https://downdetector.com/status/yahoo/

If you're having problems you could turn off router an modem for 5 mins, then re plug them in see what happens,

I can't check the answers pare because my account is suspended .

I tried your suggestion of rebooting the modem. I also tried another browser and deleting the Yahoo answers cookie. Nothing helped.

No it would tell you if the account was suspended, mine got suspended  for recommending Malwearbytes to a person  Yahoo answers said ;

  Sorry, your Yahoo Answers account is currently suspended

We can't let you participate on Answers right now. The most likely reason is that your account was in violation of Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines.

If your feel there has been a mistake please contact the team by submitting an appeal.

In meantime, feel free to browse Yahoo Answers.

The only other thing is to try another computer, just to verify its your computer. Can't think of anything else right now

I played around with Yahoo Answers today. I am not sure what I did, but it seems to be working now and I saved the link anew. I always say "If you click enough buttons, the problem may fix itself."
