So I plan on cascading my routers to split my network up a bit. My main ISP's router which I'll be using as a normal routers and a Linkys router with custom firmware dd-wrt installed that I want to place all my cameras on. I want want it to go something like this.
I was following a guide and I think I have everything set up the right way for the secondary router. Both routers have IP addresses that don't conflict. Also different SSID's, passwords, and channels that also don't conflict. For the last step, the guide I was following if I wanted to cascade different routers, mentions that I need to turn off the DHCP server for the secondary router to let the main router do all the work. Since the secondary router has dd-wrt installed, I got kind of confused on which DHCP option I need to disable. Pic next pic
Both options in red give me the option to disable but I don't know which to turn off or what's the difference. I tried asking over on dd-wrt forums but that place is too slow to get a response. So which one do I turn off?
