- Get FRST from http://www.bleepingc...very-scan-tool/You need to download the appropriate tool for your PC. If you don't know if you have a 32 or 64 bit system get them both. Only one will work and that's the right one.
- Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
- Check the Addition.txt box
- Press Scan button.
- It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
- Please copy and paste log back here.
- It will generate another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe). Please also paste that along with the FRST.txt into your reply.
Smart Screen, Windows Defender and Avast have all been blocking FRST recently. It's a false positive so pause your antivirus when downloading or running FRST. If you get a message saying Smart Screen has blocked it you can click on More Info and you will see an option to Run Anyway.

Try the free ESET scan:
https://www.eset.com...ontent-c1745340
You can also try running MBAR. It's the anti-rootkit version of MBAM and can find hidden stuff that we can't see with FRST:
https://www.malwareb...om/antirootkit/
Download, Save, right click and Run As Admin. Then follow the instructions. May take a while.

Ok will try those thanks but what if UTOMIC is a Windows program...they make it harder to remove then....

It is not part of Microsoft Windows. Should not be hard to remove.

Some programs are hidden but FRST can see them and unhide them.
What happened when you tried ESET? I just checked and the link was good. You have to click on the link as the forum software likes to shorten the links. Full link is:

Downloaded and tried both the links you suggested and they came up with a clean bill......said I'm spam free both times......maybe its not malware.....maybe it a legit program.....

You might try adwcleaner:
Download : ADWCleaner to your desktop.
NOTE: If using Internet Explorer and get an alert that stops the program downloading, click on the warning and allow the download to complete.
Close all programs, pause your anti-virus and right click on the AdwCleaner icon and select Run As Admin.
Click on I agree
Click on Scan and follow the prompts. Let it run unhindered.
When done, click on the Clean & Repair button, and follow the prompts. Allow the system to reboot. After Reboot, AdwCleaner will popup. Hit View Log File. You will then be presented with the report. Copy & Paste this report on your next reply.
The report will be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder.
Would be a lot easier if you would just post your FRST logs.

If something gets quarantined that's usually good enough.
How about running FRST and just posting the section in Addition.txt that shows what programs are installed? Starts with:
==================== Installed Programs ======================
and ends just before
==================== Custom CLSID (Whitelisted): ==============
or you can try minitoolkit which also shows hidden programs:
Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.
Checkmark the following checkboxes:
[list]
[*]List Installed Programs
Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of MTB.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.
