page file system was way to small. fixed that. did everything else in that link and its still not creating a dump file. idk why.

heres another pic of the bsod. same one that happens everytime i shut down now, sometimes even while using the computer. driver power state failure.

also i did a sfc.exe in elevated command prompt and it returned windows found some corrupt files but was not able to fix them. corrupt file system actually makes sense to me. but the driver power state faliure on the bsod  according to google lol is a bad driver. so went though the device manager and tried to update. every. driver. one. by. one. naturlly all where up to date and fine... to which i yelled at my computer f u and walked away.

lmk if you have any ideas or tests to perform.

Try going into Device Manager.  Start with Network Adapters.  Click on the arrow in front to open it up.  The top two are real the WAN Miniports can be ignored.  Right click on each real adapter and select Properties then Power Management

Uncheck, Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.  OK.  Repeat for the other real adapter.  Now that you know what to look for, start at the top of the Device Manager page and open each device and if it has a Power Management tab (most won't) then Uncheck, Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.  OK.

Do you have anything connected via USB (besides a mouse and keyboard)?

bluetooth related (my mouse is bluetooth and would constantly disconnect)

windows update (updates arent installing)

wireless display (trying to connect to my tv wirelessly would never work)

event logging (event logs werent writing)

and more.

Download the attached services.zip file.  Save and then right click and Extract All, Extract. Inside will be a bunch of screenshots of my service page.  The ServicesXbox.jpg would not fit in the zip so had to be separate.  That should show you what services are running and what they are set to.

Download TDSSKiller:
http://support.kaspe.../tdsskiller.exe
Save it to your desktop then run it by right clicking and Run As Admin.

When it finishes, click on Report in the upper right corner.  Copy and paste into a Reply.

I don't think you have TDSS but the tool gives me a good list of all active drivers.  May tell me something.

CONCLUSION
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for  0:00:06  (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.

Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs):   100989.50
Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs):   24.65740

Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs):       100982.80
Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs):       19.389331

 REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count:                 tiworker.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults                       132
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process:          132

TDSSKiller doesn't show any problems with the drivers.  Latency Monitor still claims  storport is at fault.  Beginning to wonder if we don't need a new C: drive.    tiworker.exe is causing pagefaults.    tiworker.exe is the program that installs updates so it might not be finished.

Did you ever turn off Driver Verifier?

I found one post where a guy said the high latency in storpot has something to do with sleep mode screwing up.  He recommends letting it go to sleep then waking it up.  Also said to try:

1.) Click Search
2.) Type CMD
3.) Right click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator"
4.) Copy and paste "powercfg -restoredefaultschemes" and hit enter.

Go into device manager and find your IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller and click on the error in front of it to open it up.  Right click on the controller (what does it call it by the way) and select Driver then Driver Details.  What drivers does it use?

Can you shut down your PC, open it up and swap out the SATA cable to your C: drive with one of the other drives.  Doubt it's the cable but want to rule it out.  Be very careful.  Many SATA connectors have a little button you have to push to get them off and some motherboard SATA connectors are very fragile and do not take kindly to be pushed too hard.  You should also be able to just swap the SATA connections between the hard drives and not touch the motherboard side.  That way we rule out the cable and the SATA port on the motherboard.  Power back up and check Latency Monitor.

Assume your wired keyboard is plugged into a USB port as is the bluetooth adapter for the mouse so it's probably a USB problem.  Might help to go into device manager and uninstall your USB controllers. Then reboot.  Also try your Human Interface Devices.

Can I see a new VEW log for system and Applications?

i hope not!

i think i turn it off

sleep mode works ok for me.... but i did the cmd promt. got a very interesting report ill post.

i have no errors in device manager. but its called Standard SATA AHCI Controller and uses c:/windows/system32/drivers/storachi.sys

thats gona be a no on hdd cable swapping. my c drive is a m.2 ssd

my mouse is connected to the mainboard bluetooth. no adaptor but ill try the uninstall drivers though i think its a power issue see below for power report. and next post for vew logs

You have something called "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows" - I assume this is an adapter that plugs into a USB port.  It appears to be constantly resetting:

The network interface "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows" has begun resetting.  There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. Reason: The network driver detected that its hardware has stopped responding to commands. This network interface has reset 1 time(s) since it was last initialized.

Uninstall Driver Booster it is not working.

Uninstall MBAM (MalwareBytes Anti Malware)  has a problem.

Uninstall Chrome which also has a problem.

Something called:  Asmedia ASM106x SATA Host Controller Driver says it can't install because the installer hasn't finished installing something else.  Possibly  AMD Ryzen Master.  See if you can find a new version of AMD Ryzen Master to download.  Then uninstall the old one and try to install the new.

I'm thinking your C: drive is too slow for the dump file because of the large delay from storport.  See if you can move the dump file to the other drive. Control Panel, System, Advanced System Settings, Advanced, Startup & Recovery - Settings.  Change  to D:\MEMORY.DMP

I had an offbrand SSD in my Win 7.  After about 6 months it started getting super slow then it failed.  I'm worrying that that is what is happening to you.  See if the Western Digital Dashboard can help:

how am i know seeing this? but heres what happened. i had 5 corrupt drivers. to which i disabled. now my computer is back to pretty much 100% few bluetooth disconnects. but i see the xbox adapter thing so i iwll do that. yes the adaptor plugs into a usb. its for my mic.

was able to get all the windows updates.

ram speed back to 2400mhz

programs responding and not hanging.

lat mon is happy kinda

driver booster is gone

mbam reinstalled.

chrome reinstalled... explains a few things with chrome acting funny lol.

asmedia is asrock (my mainboard manfac.) version of the store controller.

amd ryzen master was the biggest problem!! it was a corrupt driver bc my system doesnt support it. i have the other amd program that doesnt play well with it but is for my system. so this is uninstalled

3 dump drivers where corrupt. cant figure out what to do with them.

the wd dashboard says its 100% health all good. tests show 50mb transfer speeds... if i undet stand it correctly. still want me to try to move the dump file?

heres a lat mon report

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.

Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs):   114.60
Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs):   10.810615

Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs):       106.40
Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs):       3.929168

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
 REPORTED ISRs
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Process with highest pagefault count:                 latmon.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults                       1
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process:          1
