Apologies for the delay getting back to you. Couple of things of note in Speccy that may or may not explain the BSOD that generated the crash dmps. There are still traces of Avast on the... Go to the full post »

Just letting you know that it might be another day or so before I'm able to try out the avastclear utility. Once I am able to run that and post clean results, I'll close this as solved.
