Please download and run cpu-z > https://www.cpuid.co...ares/cpu-z.html

At the top, click the mainboard tab, take a screenshot.

at the bottom, click the tools > select 'clocks' take a screenshot.

Gday FletcherJ.

My apologies for not responding, I totally missed your response.  I hope your illness has not left you with any adverse long term problems.

In the short term do you think there would be any benefit to me getting a better gfx card with my current build?

I don't believe so as your CPU is just about maxed out now with the present card; you would probably need to lower your setting to maintain reasonable fps.

Sorry I was not more helpful to you.

Afternoon.

Here is an Intel Build, > https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P4WWn7

Review for the CPU, > https://www.gamersne...00k-cpu-review-worktime-benchmarks-ryzen-5-3600-et-al

MB, Asus > https://www.asus.com...WI-FI/overview/

MB very short supply, > https://www.walmart....board/814636845

Included new RAM, but yours may woork, would need to test.

Asume you will use existing case.

What CPU cooler do you have?

Give brand and model of PSU please.

Sorry for a late respond. Maybe it`s not actual alredy, but:
10600k has the same performance as 9600k. But 9600k is cheaper and Z370 MB is cheaper.
I do not recommend to buy Intel`s 10xxx series at all. At least for now.
