I have a Lenovo idea pad yoga 13 that uses msata for its storage.  The initial msata ran out of space so I upgraded to a larger one about a year ago.  About 2 months go it stopped booting.  I couldn't find any issues so I wiped and reloaded windows 10.  It's been sitting and working fine till patch Tuesday.  It's back in the same state.  I can read the drive on another pc.  currently running error checks on the drive.

Not sure if the drive is defective or what the issue is.  Suggestions appreciated.

Could be a bad update that has been reinstalled since you did the previous clean install of Windows 10, long winded but the best way to determine the possibility is to make sure that once you are up and running again you always make a new system restore point before installing any driver, software or Windows updates, make a note of any updates that are suggested, install the update/s and if the issue happens again cross reference your notes to see if a particular update is present whenever the issue has reoccurred.

Have you run the Lenovo diagnostics tool  or Driver detection scan to make sure that you have the recommended chipset and storage device drivers.
