I am in the market for a fast and reasonably priced VPN. Preferably under 60 a year that won't affect my speed too much. Any recommendations? Maybe use a promo code?

Indeed. I used HMA-VPN before and it is worth it.

The VPN best suited to you is the one that best fits your needs and requirements. Do you need one that claims to keep no logs, backs it up in the TOS, and is so certified by a third party? Need one with a killswitch? Located outside the 14-Eyes jusisdiction? Has leak protection? Has a GUI client? Offers a particular protocol (OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP, etc.)? Multi-hop? TOR friendly? Unlimited bandwith? Means to stop auto-renew? Your first step is to figure out just what you require, and that means doing your homework, and becoming well informed on the subject. Once you know just what your needs are, you can begin comparative shopping to decide which VPN meets most of your requirements.

ProtonVPN, from the same people who provide ProtonMail, have various levels of subscription, from Free on up, and it might be worth considering.
