I accidentally turned on kids mode on my samsung tablet. Now it is stuck on the "set pin" page. Internet suggestions included starting in safe mode, then going to settings. I tried that, opening in safe mode, but all I see is the same kids mode screen. There doesn't seem to be a way to get to settings. No matter what I do I'm stuck with kids mode screens.

I tried setting a password, which involves entering a 4 digit number. That just brings me to another kids mode screen. Still no way to find a menu.

Safe mode is displayed in the bottom corner of the screen, but no menu, no way to go to the next step.

Any help appreciated.

Finally solved this myself. What an annoyance! Turns out that just opening the ap set the kid mode screen as the default. I had trouble accessing the menu in safe mode - don't know what finally got me there. I did some combo of pressing and holding the main button, witch brought me an internet screen, then perhaps pulling down more screens? Not sure, but eventually got a menu. Online suggestions was to uninstall the ap, but there was no option for that. I tried "force stop" but that did nothing. Scrolled down, finally got to option for "home screen". Changed that from kids mode to samsung experience home and now everything works.
