AS title suggests I am in the painful market of hunting down my next GPU. I only play 080p monitor so no need for 1500$. GPUs. I have i5 8400 with RTX 480(4G) and 600w PSU.

What I want is latest in GPUs like the AMD 6000 series with ray tracing but.....try to find one. I would shell out 1000$ for a card that would last me 7+ years. I've had this RTX480 for 5 yrs now and it cost me 400$ and still happy with it. Newer games requires more than 4G memory so, off to the market I go.

I have only ever ran AMD cards so I need assistance as GPUs frustrate the [bleep] out of me. Budget 500-1000$

Also what about option of running 2 rtx480s to get 8g memory? Is that an option? I know power hungry but??
