intel audio issue 2

Laptop:    HP PC 17-by4000 (18b36av)
Microphone:    Logitech H540 headset.

The audio driver for my microphone is : Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB audio. Testing the microphone, shows an input of 30% max.   Is there a way to adjust the driver to increase the input to something closer to 100%?
