Note: kind people only, helpful replies, no dissmisives. Thank you.

Please create a discussion board for members to share their experiences and get tips and varied advice on malware, Viruses etc when they are not seeking immediate fix.
If I missed the right board to get a discussion. please link below and I will move this post over there.

Note: no logs posted here, not asking for a fix but shared experiences and support from a "forum". I have a human right to be a member of other forums too.

Hello,

Before I do anything else on my end I would like some help to determine what might be happening on my laptops.

Do I have any hacker vulnerabilities?

In April 2020- I woke up from a nap to find a document about my financial credit score opened in firefox browser. That week-I didn't do anything with my finances on my laptop.
In April 2020- I was working at my pc when I noticed the mouse began to move around- I waited to see what move they would make but dlthey didn't ( I got a phone call and also suspect movement from apartment above that may have been to track where I was.)
In April 2020- I switched laptops and still the person connected again)

I have bought malware software and wipe laptop clean regularly to no avail

On April 2021 (coincidentally) I was trying setting up a dedicated ip router when I notice after flushing dns the cmd entry after \system32_ had this: z^z^z
Have you ever seen that in cmd after u successfully run a cmd? I haven't. Maybe the hacker was sending a msg b/c I did call them names in my settings for example computer user name was 'coward_' etc.

I disabled remote desktop, turned off all remote services in windows, disable ipv6 in network adapters, changed dns, use a vpn

When I use vpn sometimes I'm throttled or knocked off from the isp.

I've used straight ethernet but don't feel like ots the best thing to do in terms of privacy after what I experienced.

My ISP's are no help, recently with Optimum Online- I was unable for 4 months to sign in to the modem/router combo settings page!! So I bought a modem and now also using my old routers.

Both my laptops have bios passwords now maybe that helps to protect the root but- the zzz in my cmd line was telling.

I suspect a addicted gambler and her boyfriend next door that sits on their asses, or 1 of 2 other looser males roaming around; one of which behaves like a toddler and capable of asking someone to help them hack me.

In my home in October 2020 I began to hear a beeping sound in one area of my kitchen that seems to me multidirectional- I was told it is the camera motion sensor when cars are passingby' I left a audio recorder on went outside see when cars or people passed- and now know this is not true! Is this surveillance on me? I don't hear it on the first floor - only on my lower level so it must be in my home. How do I find it?

What do you think is going on?
Evertime I wiped my pc and started over, I heard dragging of furniture from upstairs, on on day I dragged after they did that and they stopped doing so after I clean my computer or reset network.

What do you think is going on?
Where do I start?
Who could have consistent access?
Do you suspect my ISP or tenants around?

Many thanks for reading the background experiences I'm having.

Of course you have every right to be a member of other forums. No one said something else. We are members in other forums too.

Since you are asking all these questions, the only way to give you a reply is to look into your logs, analyze them and see what is happening. You didn't clarify that you just want an opinion, and the fact that you posted logs in the other forum, made me think that you will get served there. That's why I closed the thread here, with no intention to make you feel uncomfortable or not welcome. Just think this: Is it right to be having several people to do that for you in the forums you are a member? And what if the procedure in one forum is different from the procedure in another forum? What would you do? Wouldn't you get confused?

Friendly advice:

Analyzing logs takes time and as you see there are many people asking for help. That's why you have to be patient.

Also, people doing this job, analyzing the logs, are all volunteers. With their families, their jobs, their lives. They do this because they like to help others, providing their expertise and knowledge and time. They don't get payed. The only thing they earn is pleasure, because they help. So "talking about kind people only, helpful replies, no dissmisives" implying things, is an unfortunate statement and certainly not fair.

As for your suggestion for a forum which deals with general discussion in Security subjects, it's a good idea. You can post your suggestion here: Geeks to go Feedback

[If someone else is reading Please create a malware 'discussion board' so only fixes are posted in this section] thank you fellow volunteer!!

Bias

You went looking and found my logs on another forum and decided to lock my post as u linked to it- biased because I am on another forum. My post here had no logs- only asking people like me to brainstorm vulnerabilities- it clearly stated...."before I do anything else..." meaning let's talk as a "forum" for those who have the time.

You didn't say " locked because of no logs and little info" you linked my post on bleeping computer which had a log already!biased.clearly I didn't post a log here because I did so on over there on BC forum. That demonstrates I considered the time of others. I only wanted a discussion with advice from various people.

I'm sorry your act was biased because u linked Bleeping Computer as your reason to be dismissive- no follow-up question just locked my post because you saw a log in another universe.

Any suggestions on uncovering vulnerabilities welcomed:

Nmap is a good one

Still hackers are in the cloud not on our desktops. So I'm shaking my head at all the physical hardware software scans were all trying stuff...what allows someone to still have access?

Many heads are better than one :)

This is what is happening when someone asks for help on two or more Forums. Not only here, but in every Malware Forum (or Malware Universe, if you prefer). Anything else is your conclusion.
