Transferring email profile to new email installation

My Win XP PC crashed. I had to reinstall Thunderbird. All Inbox Folders (that I could remember) had to be manually recreated.

 

How do I transfer the original profile to the new installation

Copy your old profile to the directory where your current profile is stored.
