I did it, but my laptop did not boot using the USB. It booted normally. I tried it several times at different ports.

Have you saved the changes you did? Usually F10 does this.

Yes, I have. F10, save and exit-- enter.

Well, it's time to get advice from a Windows expert here. I believe that the Lecacy boot order must be enabled instead of UEFI, but give me some time to ask someone else to see what is happening.

Hi, Ryan.

My instructions are based on the last screenshot you posted here: http://www.geekstogo...-7#entry2659729

1. Enable Legacy support which is now shown as Disabled

2. Under the Legacy Boot Order, change the boot order so that the USB CD/DVD ROM Drive to be first

3. Save > F10

4. Restart and shut down

5. Insert the Media Tool with the Windows 10

6. Restart

7. In the lilac window that will appear, choose Repair.

8. Troubleshoot > Reset

Let me know if things ran smoothly this time.

Hi DR M,

It still didn't work. After enabling the legacy boot and saving it, the screenshot below appeared. I was trying to key in the code (0354 + ENTER), but nothing was showing/happening. Then, my PC suddenly went black and booted the OS normally.

Is it possible that the USB is the problem? I'm using an old USB. I just deleted its contents.

Have you also changed the boot order with the Legacy Boot Option enabled?

If yes, shut down, insert the USB and restart.

(If you have the USB yet...)

Yes, I changed the order, too. The first one is USB CD/DVD ROM Drive, then I saved it (F10 + enter). After that, I shut down the PC, inserted the USB, then turned the laptop on. It booted the OS normally.

Since you deleted the USB content, create it from the beginning is something you have to do now.

See here: Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

Make sure to choose Create installation media for this PC, NOT FOR ANOTHER PC.

Hi. No, I meant I deleted its content before creating a media tool with it. Now this is what it has after creating the tool last time. Thank you!

USB seems fine.

Now we have to boot the computer with it.  :bashhead:

Hi, Ryan.

Since the computer is clean from malware and since there are experts on the Windows 10 operating system, I recommend you to open a new thread at the Windows 10 Forum. Say that the computer was tested for malware here, providing a link to this thread, and that I sent you for assistance there. Hopefully one of the experts there will help you solve your computer's issues.
