PLEASE IGNORE ABOVE POSTS!! WOOT! I did the memory tests, and both sticks came up with error code 53. SO, I put both of the sticks back in, and hey presto! It's working!!! (I am doing the happ... Go to the full post »

Hi Glomo -- another little update: The system has been working great (though without the GPU.) Just for fun I tried it again, but no joy. Alas. Aaaaaand...I just read your remark on the edited update.

 

Anyway...another great big thank you for your patience and assistance. You've been fab!
