Interesting question! There were 2 updates installed in June (KB4023057, KB5003637). I read through the descriptions, and nothing seems to stand out. But, I am hopeful... Go to the full post »

I have had this PC for about 1 1/2 years. Until recently, it would go to sleep, then wake up without any issues. The last few weeks, sometimes, it is either shutting down or crashing when it should be sleeping. I need to reboot the machine to get it back up.
There haven't been any issues, and I haven't added any new hardware in quite a while. What could be causing this? What should I look at?

Have you checked the update history to see if any updates got installed around the time that the issue first happened.

Be sure to create a new system restore point while the computer is behaving as it should do.
