I installed a renewal for my antivirus on 9-4-2021, and on 9-5-21, I could not get into my Facebook account.  They suspended my account and say it must be clear up with 30 days.  I got a message when I request to fix what might be wrong.   They want me to send a official photo ID, drivers license, passport or any document that has a photo ID.  I do not feel comfortable suppling this information.

Could this be a ligitiment request of is it malware.   Please let me know.  I really need to have my Facebook account reinstated.

I hope you can see my attachment.

Thank you.

Hello,

In fact, Facebook tells us: "Sometimes we do ask people to send a photo ID to us so we can confirm the account they're trying to access really belongs to them. We ask for an ID so that we don't let anyone into your account except for you."

Well I sent in my Drivers License Photo ID and they rejected it and terminated my account.  I have a new account but can not find my friends, family, or my games.  What do I do now?
