hi all,
i have an old chromebook that works well.... no problems.
i have received a message that no security upgrades will be issued after september 2021 and i need a new chromebook to continue with new upgrades.
i am able to install security from other sites on chrome os.
appreciate any advice.

You would need to convince the manufacturer that they should continue creating updates for your old device.

the operating system as you are most probably aware is google .
are you suggesting i contact them for updates despite their message of discontinuation.
from your experience; have you known others that have been successful in this.
