Whether using AutoHotKey, Macro Express, VBS, Powershell, Power Automate, batch-file - I don't mind - whatever works, to quickly toggle the browser DEFAULT state between Edge and Firefox.

That is an excellent start - since it is between Firefox and Edge; two problems : 1. "Mozilla has found" I don't want a late version of Firefox made default (temporarily), but an early one; and 2. I want to toggle back to Edge equally easily.
