Can't connect to network shared printer

When attempting to connect my Windows 10 machine (64 bit) to the network shared printer, I received the message "Windows cannot connect to Printer".  This printer has been connected for years.  So I removed the printer and reinstalled with no luck.  I discovered that the most recent Windows update KB5006670 caused this error so I removed the update.  Now when I go to connect to the network printer I receive a different error message as follows: "A policy is in effect on your computer which prevents you from connecting to this print queue.  Please contact your system administrator".   Anyone know how to fix this?

Is it an HP printer?


The KB installed a hidden policy which turns off  the CopyFiles feature which HP printers need to work.  Perhaps when you uninstall the KB it doesn't remove the hidden policy.
