Hi all,

My parents have a new computer and printer and although they've managed to get the computer connected to the internet using their wifi router, they don't know how to get the printer set up.

They have a cd with the printer but the computer doesn't have a cd drive (seems these are going out of fashion) and the printer instructions say that the printer needs to be connected into the wireless network.

This is the video for the printer:

My question is, if the computer can already access the internet router with a wifi connection, does that already constitute a network (that the printer can connect into) or do I need to do something additional on the computer to create a network?

Apologies if this is a bit of a basic question but I've not had much experience with networks before.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Since there is no cd rom drive you may need to visit the Espon support page and download the printer software and driver from the Espon support page I liked below.

Yes! that is network the printer will want to or should connect to, and the password should be on the wifi router, the printer may ask for it.
