My family recently switched service providers. On the new network I have connected my phone to the Wi-Fi and everyone elses laptops and phones are working fine but when I try to connect my laptop the network doesnt show up. Other networks (neighbors) show up but they are secure. The connection issue must be with my computer. I have tried updating the drivers but it says they are up to date. Any other ideas of what could be wrong?

It seems likely that your new network operates on the 5GHz spectrum, whilst your laptop is only able to connect to 2.4GHz networks. In order to connect to the new network, it is likely that you will need to purchase a WiFi adapter that can communicate over the 5GHz spectrum. You can find these in USB form factor, and they're relatively inexpensive. I'd recommend Amazon or similar.
