I know this old scanner no longer has any support from Epson.  It did scan documents just fine, but no longer would scan negatives or slides and it used to before routine Windows 10 updates.  Once before I asked about this and someone suggested downloading Epson drivers from another model to see if it would help, and it did, but I no longer have that information.  Anyway, I went to the Epson website and typed in my model number, and the only thing available to download was what they called "Event Planner", so I downloaded it. Now the scanner does not work as well as it did, I no longer even have the option to select positive or negative film from the choices there.

Anyway, my question is, if I go to "programs/uninstall Event Planner" will I be running the risk of having the scanner not work at all anymore? I am afraid to proceed doing that. I have HP desktop with Windows 10, and I still have the original install disks that came with the printer.

Any advice here? Thanks

Hello qcfan,

You should really consider a new scanner, working with old equipment is difficult.

your question

Hard to say. Anything can happen, I don't think you have much to lose though, I'd give it a try.

Also, may be other ideas linked below for you.
