My main disc burner is Windows Media Player.  Recently I burned a cd with 10 songs on it in my computer.  I played it in my disc player.  I noticed it played the songs in reverse order from the way I had lined them up for the burn. (10, 9, 8 instead of 1, 2, 3, etc.). I played the same disc in a 2nd player and the same results).  I burned another disc (same program) and the same situation occurred.

 

I repeated the same as above using my secondary disc burner with exactly the same results.

 

I  would appreciate help to get this resolved.  I have researched this extensively online but can't find anyone with the exact situation.

Actually I have resorted to your reverse load idea already but I am hoping to get the problem corrected.

Windows Media Player burn list is arranged in alphabetical order. You can try changing the playlist in ascending or descending order starting from A to Z or vice-versa.

 

You might try inserting an 01- (a zero, a number one, and a dash) in front of the first song's name you want to hear, then an 02- in front of the second song, then an 03-, etc., etc.

 

As far as getting Microsoft to alter the way their Windows Media Player works, best of luck.

I have corrected the disc burning problem outlined in my first post.  It was as simple as uninstalling/reinstalling Windows Media Player.  Works as intended.
