I dont see a forum for bios/UEFI. Ive got a potentially complex issue that would need help from someone very familiar with Dell UEFI . Apologies if this is the wrong place to post but couldnt. Find an appropriate channel. I have two identical 24-5400 AIO one had a corrupted bios. Ive been through heck trying to get it working. Auto bio recovery failed. I pulled the rom, dumped the bios, and have had countless individuals try to stitch it together with the most current bios update; but all attempts to use the new dump renders the pc with no power at all, only when I put back in the corrupt bios was able to get it powered back on; now since I have an identical machine. Just troubleshooting I dumped that bios and loaded it to the fault rom (Dell doesnt give out complete bios only the portion of the bios that isnt service tag specific) I was able to finally get into bio setup this way, adjust the service tag and even finally had operation USB, but it would not detect the SSD or the TSL Or whatevr thet security component is. Ive booted torn a boot up windows environment via flash; and was even able to get to dells website from there, download AND SUCCESFULY install the bios repair. But upon restart, same thing, manufacturer mode hit contr f to bypass, takes you to setup where it says it doesnt have the service key, which it lets you enter and save, but no SSD. I need someone who can stitch the good portion or the bios successfully with my backup of my corrupted bios that has all the pertinent system info on it so it will accept it
