Hello,

I have a laptop with a USB 3.1 c port. Its this laptop:

I have an external drive, this one:

But it takes something like 12 hours to backup 1 TB of data using the USB c port.

 

I can't change my laptop. But can someone recommend a good external HDD drive with a good cable that will speed up the backup transfer process for me? Or maybe link a good cable I can use that will speed up the transfer process from my existing external drive? Appreciate your help.
