Messages open very slowly or I get this message (which isn't the case - see attached screenshot). I deleted Yahoo cookies, but it didn't help.

Is that error correct, or on trying to access it again later, you do not get that error?

That message is incorrect. Sometimes the messages open, but slowly, and sometimes the same message gives the pop-up.

I did contact Yahoo about it and received this reply:

 Dear user,

We are closing all old versions of our Mail-box as from today.

Kindly upgrade your YAHOO account and accept our terms of service to avoid account
shutdown.

I tried, but if I leave and go back to Yahoo mail, it has reverted to the old account format.

We, nor anyone other than Yahoo have access to their servers to make any changes for you, or anyone else.
