I downloaded Ad-aware SE Personal on Windows XP operating system. Everything downloaded fine. However, I'm thinking it was the Norton Internet Security prompted me a question and recommended blocking internet access and of course I CLICKED. Mistake, because now I can't retrieve definition file updates. When I click check for updates, It says error retrieving update!!!!!!!!!

Please help me resolve this. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled. Same thing occurs. The root of the problem must be in the Norton Internet Security but I don't know how to fix this. Do you?

Can you check the settings on your firewall ?
