OK, I'd like to get rid of Any Video Converter. That's what I get for downloading questionable software. I'm not even using it anymore. What's the best way to remove it? Just uninstall from Add/Remove programs? Will that remove it all? I'm thinking of that d***ed Avast where using the uninstall function doesn't get it all.

The connection just timed out for trying to post the above. I had to click Try Again to get it to go. Is there anything we can do to avoid that in the future?

Yes, you can use the normal Windows uninstall process. Uninstalling antivirus often requires a special procedure, but it will be fine to use the usual way here.

Possibly it's a coincidence. :)

So I'm looking through all my installed apps now. Tree Size Free - I don't remember installing it, but do you think it's ok to uninstall? Sounds like it finds your biggest files, but CCleaner, which I already have, does that too.

Good for you to start this process now: uninstall whatever you don't use/need.
