Ive had backdoor viruses and adware/spyware for a while. I was able to update the registry to get rid of the viruses (at least it doesnt say i have them anymore), but i still have a wicked amount of spyware on my computer. One comes up all the time with the title Only The Best. Thats the worst one. And now my AIM isnt working... Everytime i try and open a message window with the most recent version of AIM, the whole program shuts down. What should I do about all of this?

Cheers

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
