I have 2 computers using XP that are networked to share my cash register program and I need to share a barcode printer that is hooked up to one, but the barcode printer isn't showing up in the printer properties. It is just in the actual program, where I need to put the network path to be able to share it. HELP!
Thank you!

Go to the pc that you have the printer installed on and and "add new printer" (you can delete the one you already installed, we're gonna install it again) during installation pick "install local printer" not "network printer" (i can explain why later) finish installation. Right click on the printer and share it. You should be able to see it with the other pc now. By default when sharing a printer all users have only the print permission. You can modify and add permissions once it has been installed.
